Annual Modelling Competition 2014
Thursday 11th December 2014
After a successful Open Day on Sunday (check back for a report and pictures of the event soon), this weeks club meeting was the annual model making competition and quiz.
All of this years entries for the competition were placed in the centre of the tables at the start of the evening, ready for judging later on and once everyone had arrived, the quiz began. This consisted of forty railway related questions which led to some good entertainment for this part of the evening.
Next up was the judging of the competition, where everyone goes round inspecting the entries and marks down their favourites in each category on a voting slip. This years entries are shown in the pictures below. Once the votes were counted and winners had been announced, the remaining time of the evening was spent chatting. Overall, an enjoyable evening.

If you’re interested in building models like the ones shown in the pictures above and live in the area, why not come along and join the club where our members will be more than happy to discuss how they’ve created their models and share their knowledge.
