Norton Vale at Bristol Model Railway Exhibition 2016
Monday 25th April 2016
This coming weekend, on Friday the 29th of April to Sunday the 1st of May, club layout Norton Vale will be exhibited at the Bristol Model Railway Exhibition 2016 at Thornbury Leisure Centre. This show is hosted by the Association of Model Railway Clubs Wales and West of England, more information can be found on their website by clicking here.
This weekend, Norton Vale was set up in the club room to give it a test before the show to ensure that everything still operates okay since it’s last outing. There has also been a few small alterations including the addition of a new fiddle yard at the end of the layout beyond the dairy that required thorough testing. A few photos from this testing session can be seen below.
There’s also been a few more photos added to the gallery on the Test Track page of the website showing some more of the items of rolling stock our club members have recently brought along to test, including some permanent way vehicles, a Network Rail HST and the new APT-E produced by Rapido Trains in OO and some Southern Railway steam trains in N.
