Upcoming Weston-super-Mare Train Show
Tuesday 6th January 2015
This Sunday, January 11th, is the Weston-super-Mare Train Show. While this show is run independently, it certainly deserves a mention as all the proceeds go to Weston Hospice Care (registered charity no.900328). Over the last five years, Keith and Joyce Price who organise the show have raised more than £20,000 which has been donated to the charity, £5,641 of that total being raised last year alone.
Amongst the thirty layouts operating as part of the Weston-super-Mare Train Show, there will be two layouts owned and operated by members of the Nailsea and District Model Railway Club. Mike Brown will be there with his G Scale tramway layout, ‘Paley Green Park’ which was recently displayed at our club open day in December 2014 and Pete Everitt will be operating his Colorado based HO Scale layout, ‘Windsor’ which you can read more about in the Member’s Layouts section of the website here.

Next week we shall have our first update on this year’s Nailsea and District Model Railway Club’s Annual Exhibition in March 2015, so check back again soon.
