3mm / TT Scale at Upcoming Open Day 2014

Amongst the other layouts and displays at the Nailsea and District Model Railway Club’s Open Day on the 7th December this year, there will be a 3mm / TT Scale layout.

TT (Table Top) Scale is roughly halfway between N Gauge and OO Gauge at 3mm to the foot, so you can get more in the space than in OO without having to go as small as N. The TT layout appearing at our club Open Day this year will be ‘Fourtee Colliery’ built by Doug Richards in 2005 as part of a 3mm Society 40th Anniversary challenge.
